In this workshop you will learn the basics of guitar pedal circuitry,  analyse famous pedals to understand what makes them tick, and then put that knowledge into practice to build a simple distortion pedal on our custom printed PCB.

You will walk out with not only a complete pedal that you built from scratch, but the knowledge and ability to build more, and even design your own!

The woman behind Digicarrie Designs, Carrie is known for unconventional fuzzes, ear-smashing distortions, and unique modulation effects that try to bring traditionally synthesist techniques to guitar pedal design. “Clean Tone” is not in her vocabulary as she approaches the event-horizon of noise, making guitars sound as least like guitars as possible.
